Reading Now: Mount Sion & Wilderness

Students at Mount Sion School are currently reading Roddy Doyle’s Wilderness, a short novel that balances two young boys’ realistic adventure holiday that goes awry in Finland, with their half-sister’s painful reconciliation with her estranged mother back in Dublin.

Anna Carey Workshop for Waterford Writers’ Weekend

Anna Carey, author of Irish Book Awards winner ‘The Real Rebecca’ and the brand new follow up ‘Rebecca’s Rules’ will be giving a free writing workshop in Waterford’s Central Library for 10 – 14 year olds, on Saturday March 23rdĀ  as part of Waterford Writers Weekend – Book online or in person through Greyfriars Gallery.
